Hotel VP Plaza España Design 5*

VP Plaza España Design 5* enjoys a privileged location in Madrid’s Plaza de España, close to Gran Vía and just a few metres from the Royal Palace. The hotel was specially designed by the architect Fermín Vázquez as an icon of design, art, decoration and architecture in Madrid.

The hotel is proud to be a sustainable hotel and part of sustainable tourism in the centre of Madrid. Thanks to their commitment to the environment, the US Green Building Council awarded them the honour of being one of the first hotels in Spain to receive the prestigious LEED Gold Certificate (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design).

The hotel has 214 luxurious rooms, characterised by their spaciousness, privileged views and, of course, the most advanced technology. Furthermore they offer more than 1,400 m2 of meeting spaces distributed throughout the building, with versatile rooms equipped with audiovisual technology, ceilings of over 4 metres high and natural light. 

Gastronomy

On the 12th floor of the hotel you will find the Ginkgo Restaurante & Sky Bar, an incredible rooftop establishment with direct access from the street and 360º views of Plaza de España, the Royal Palace and El Madrid de los Austrias. Particularly impressive are its Asian and Spanish cuisine with international influences, its incredible signature cocktails and its unique atmosphere. 

Botania Restaurant is distinguished by its unique location: the west façade overlooks the Plaza de España, while the east façade faces a large patio: the perfect balance between two different environments: an open public space with large trees, and a private courtyard landscape. The gastronomic concept is based on international cuisine, with dishes and nuances from different countries with a special focus on oriental cuisine.

The hotel enjoys a prime position in the centre of Madrid, just a few steps from the Temple of Debod, the Almudena Cathedral, the Royal Theatre and the Royal Palace, allowing you to enjoy all the leisure activities the capital has to offer.
